Hillary Clinton 2016
The Democratic Ticket is Sure to Read Hillary Clinton 2016
It should go without saying that if Hillary Clinton became President of the United States, it would make her the first female to do so. This would be another notch in a long list of “first” for the former First Lady. In 1969, Hillary was the first student commencement speaker at Wellesley College. In 1978, she became the first female chair of the Legal Services Corporation, and in 1979, the first female partner at Rose Law Firm. In 2001, Clinton was elected the first female New York senator, becoming the first (and only) First Lady ever to have run for public office.
There is an overwhelming majority of people who believe that Hillary Clinton will be the primary runner for the 2016 Presidential Election. The following pie charts, constructed by 270 to Win, further confirms my belief that it will be Hillary Clinton 2016.
In each poll shown above, Hillary is the only person listed for the Democratic Party. However, when looking at the Republican Party, polls have Chris Christie, Jeb Bush, John Kasich, Rand Paul, Mitt Romney, and Ted Cruz as possible candidates for the 2016 Presidential Election.
Having served two terms as a United States Senator and most recently serving as the Secretary of State, I think it will be hard for people to argue that she doesn’t have the necessary experience to run for POTUS. In fact, I’m of the opinion that she is more qualified that our current president was when he ran for office.
I believe that Hillary’s largest obstical will be in regards to the security lapses of the 2012 Benghazi attack. If she can overcome the scrutiny and continued backlash from this terrorist attack, I believe that she will have an excellent shot at becoming the first, female President of the United States of America.
